Ryanair is marking the launch of its new Liverpool airport summer schedule by selling flights from £19.99.
The budget airline company is offering 100,000 cheap seats for flights in October and November, which are available for booking until Monday, September 12.
The Irish airline has announced five new flights from Liverpool in 2017 to Bari, Barcelona Girona, Prague, Marrakech and Sofia.
There will also be more flights to Alicante, Faro, Gran Canaria, Palma and Warsaw.
It means Ryanair will now fly to 32 destinations from Liverpool, allaying fears that it would focus on growing its services at airports in Europe following the Brexit vote.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “To celebrate the launch of our Liverpool summer 2017 schedule, we are releasing 100,000 seats for sale across our European network from just £19.99, which are available for booking until Monday.”
In 2017 Ryanair will fly to Bari and Girona from Liverpool twice a week and there will be four flights every week to Prague.
In the summer there will be two flights a week to Marrakech and Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport chief executive, Andrew Cornish said: “This latest commitment from Ryanair towards the airport and the City Region is a reflection of the confidence that we both have in the opportunities for further growth here.”
