Police are hoping that the jailing of prolific burglars will calm residents fears of intrusion in their homes

POLICE are hoping that residents will feel safer in their homes now that three prolific offenders are behind bars.

Officers slated Hall, Lane, and Davies-Bagley, who committed a 10-month spate of burglaries ransacking homes across the region.

Detective Sergeant Mike Ankers said: “These men showed a blatant disregard for the law and contempt for our communities by systematically targeting affluent homes across West Cheshire and South Wirral.

“Although they are young, the way in which they carried out their crimes was far from chaotic and they operated in an organised and controlled manner.

“We hope that this operation and the imprisonment of these men will reassure these victims and the public of Cheshire that we are actively targeting and successfully prosecuting those who commit burglary, and seek to put our communities and homeowners in fear”
