A CHESTER art exhibition is a family affair.
Olga MacSween, of Mollington, is staging a Russian art exhibition of work done by members of her family who live in Ukraine.
Olga’s son Alexei Petrenko, his wife Tatiana, her sister Tatiana Rusakova and niece Alexandra Rusakova will all have pieces exhibited at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church in Handbridge.
She said: “I have exhibited already in Cumbria and in Northwich and have sold paintings all around the world. Even my granddaughter, Daria, who is just three-and-a-half, has produced work which I have sold in America.”
Olga moved to England from the Ukraine eight years ago. Her husband died five years ago but she remarried this summer.
“My husband Angus has been very supportive in helping me put together this exhibition,” she said.
Olga’s Russian art exhibition is at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church on Saturday, November 22 and 29, Sunday, December 7 and Saturday, December 13 from 2-6pm.
