A drunk homeless woman has been jailed after breaching her ASBO for the 10th time.

Christine Holleran, was banned from Northwich after hurling racist abuse at takeaway workers while claiming to be a police officer.

The 51-year-old, was handed a criminal ASBO for the offence during a court hearing last month – adding to a second ASBO banning her from carrying alcohol.

She was also jailed for four weeks.

But within two days of being released from prison, Holleran was arrested for breaching her ASBO for the 10th time.

Holleran, who has a long history of violent and antisocial behaviour, now lives in a hotel in Crewe after being forced to leave her Northwich home due to the terms of her ASBO.

She was found slumped over in the street by police officers at around 7pm on August 6.

Last year Holleran, formerly of Ellesmere Port, was cleared of murdering Andrew Mackenzie Nall who was found dead at his Chester flat in August 2012.

Co-accused Gary George was sentenced to a minimum of 30-years behind bars.

“Clearly custody is not working,” said Becky Hay, defending.

“In the past I can say with confidence when she was arrested she was a nightmare to deal with.

“She does not do that anymore, she has changed.”

Holleran, who has 35 convictions, was jailed for 16 weeks for the breach during the hearing at Chester Magistrates last week.

In June the 51-year-old hurled racist abuse in Cals Charcoal Grill in Northwich – yelling at staff to ‘wash their hands’ and ‘go back to their own country’.

She was banned from the centre of Northwich following the racial attack which took place in front of a five-year-old child.
