A group from Neston have begun the countdown to Fairtrade Fortnight.

Neston Fairtrade Town Steering Group held a Fairtrade Breakfast where they all donned their dressing gowns.

The event was in preparation for the 'Sit Down For Breakfast, Stand Up For Farmers' Fairtrade event to be held at Neston Town Hall on Saturday, March 5 (10am-2pm).

There will be Fairtrade items available and the event is all part of Fairtrade Fortnight (February 29-March 13), which highlights the importance of buying Fairtrade goods to benefit the producers.

The breakfast will be running in conjunction with the launch of the the Neston Town Hall Market and also with the regular farmers and food-makers market.
