A police alert has been issued about a suspicious male in the Neston area.
Neston PCSO Linda Conway says Cheshire Police have received information about the man male who recently called at a property in Burton claiming to have been working on driveways in the area and offering to sell tarmac.
The male seemed ‘particularly interested in horses and vehicles’ at the property, enquiring if they were for sale.
He is described as white, aged around 50 with short dark hair and spoke with an Irish accent.
He wore high-viz clothing and drove a white Nissan pick-up truck.
Police say any suspicious activity should be reported via their non-emergency number 101.
