This week, the Year 3 class from Lache Primary School went into the Tesco Store in Chester to find out more about Fairtrade.
For two years running, Linda Allen, their store community champion, has provided this experience for them. She arranged for them to examine a range of products, some Fairtrade, some not.
The children discovered the benefits to the producers and their communities to be part of this initiative.
The children were then given a gift card to go shopping in the store for Fairtrade products to buy.
