Schools in Frodsham and Helsby are being encouraged to apply for free visits to the Houses of Parliament.

Weaver Vale MP Graham Evans wants to see some of his younger constituents down in London later this year.

If successful, schools can also apply to have their travel subsidised to support the costs of the visit.

Mr Evans said: “I would be delighted to welcome schools from across Weaver Vale to Parliament; and the schools who have visited in the past always have an interesting and informative time.

“Visits consist of a tour of Parliament and a workshop in the new Parliamentary Education Centre, and finish with a Q and A session with me. These are great fun and I’m always quizzed on a huge variety of things.”
