Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a 25-year-old woman who was stabbed to death in North Wales over the weekend.

'Much adored' Tyler Denton, who worked at Cheshire Oaks in Ellesmere Port, passed away in the Denbighshire town of Rhyl on Saturday (September 9).

In a statement the family of Miss Denton say: "She was a gorgeous daughter, loving sister, much adored auntie and special friend to all.

"Always referred to as our ‘little mate,’ she was loved by everyone and will be missed immensely.

"Love you to the moon and back, now and always our little princess."

Three others were seriously injured as part of the 'disturbance' which saw Miss Denton killed, the Daily Post reports.

North Wales Police have been granted more time to question the 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder.

"I can confirm that the deceased is Tyler Denton, a 25-year-old woman from Rhyl.”

He added: “Family liaison officers continue to support Tyler’s family throughout this difficult time.”
