A DESIGNER clothes sale raised more than £1,000 for a Chester charity.
Supporters of the Bren Project, a Hoole-based charity that provides a supported employment service for people with learning disabilities, held a one-night only sale at the Lord Binning pub in Kelsall on January 26 – and were thrilled to raise £1,330.
The evening was supported by various local businesses who provided stock, including The Lord Binning, the Hollies Farm Shop in Little Budworth, the Fabulous You Spa at Willington Hall, Chester Towbars and Fall Woman, who donated 25% of the evening’s proceeds.
Peter Sackett, charity manager at the Bren Project, said he was ‘overwhelmed’ at the success of the sale.
"We have never had an event like this before and the way that it was organised was amazing, we cant thank the people who organised it enough.”
