Walls of The Ship Victory were further stripped away on Wednesday (November 4).

The pulling down of the pub, which is making way for the new £13.5m Gorse Stacks bus exchange, began on Monday.

Pictures show the top floor of the ale house has almost been completely removed.

Steve Jones commented: “That was one fantastic pub.

“There are not many old-fashioned pubs around these days, it was also a very historic building.

“Shame on Cheshire West and Chester Council destroying the heritage of our city.”
