A CHESTER driver has been killed in a road traffic collision this morning.

The accident happened at 1.15am today (Thursday, July 21) on the A51 Tarporley Road at Duddon, near O'kells Nursery.

At the time of the collision the car, a BMW 320i in silver, was travelling from Tarvin towards Tarvin towards Duddon.

The vehicle left the road to the nearside and collided with a tree. No other vehicle was involved.

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old man from the Chester area, died at the scene.
