The year 6 eco team at Belgrave Primary School organised a competition to encourage the school community to recycle Christmas packaging.
The children were asked to make a Winter Wonderland during the holiday and bring it into school to be judged by a group of governors on January 7.
There were 32 amazing entries, which are now all on display in the school hall and the foyer.
It was decided by the year 6 eco team that there would be a prize for the reception and Key Stage 1 age group and another for the Key Stage 2 pupils.
The two winners were awarded a bowl of hyacinth bulbs and all the competitors were given a beautifully packaged sphere of bird food for the garden.
The two winners were reception and Key Stage 1 pupil Anna Macdonald and Key Stage 2 pupil Jasmine Ashton.
It was very difficult to judge the competition so it was decided that everyone deserved to be praised and given a prize.
All the pupils enjoyed seeing all the entries in the school's celebration assembly.
