Ever thought about a job in air traffic control? This video will show you just how tough it is.
It makes for a stunning effect.
Air traffic control provider NATS have put together the mesmerising clip using their Airspace+ program.
The clip, centred around Manchester Airport, shows the skies between 1pm on Tuesday and 1pm on Wednesday (November 2).
An NATS spokesman said: “Airspace+ uses aircraft positional data to create near real-time visualisations of the commercial air traffic in our skies.
“It can do this for anywhere in the world, working incredibly quickly to crunch thousands of lines of data in seconds.
“The results are beautifully cinematic visualisations for locations around the UK and the rest of the world, updated every hour, on the hour.”
NATS hope the video will give people an appreciation of the role of air traffic controllers.
All of their Airspace+ videos, including ones of the whole of the UK, Europe and the USA, can be found here.
