The family of a father-of-four, who was killed after his car left the road and collided with a tree, have paid tribute to their loved one.
Craig Felton, 34, of Winsford was driving his black Peugeot 206 from the direction of Ellesmere Port along the A5032 Whitby Lane, Backford, towards Chester when the accident happened about 10.15pm on Sunday (August 24).
Today (Tuesday), his distraught family have issued the following statement: "The family of Craig are devastated. He was the father of four as well as being the brother of two and a son.
"He was employed as an interior designer for Lifestyle Interiors. He was happy go lucky, loved life and would do anything for anybody.
"Nothing was too much trouble and there was not a bad bone in his body. He couldn′t sit still and was constantly on the go.
"One of his daughters, Alancia, misses her daddy, their pillow fights and their family days out to the beach and especially Blackpool, a place where he was planning to take the children for a surprise outing.
"She misses him flicking her on the head. He was always dancing and singing with his children."
Cheshire police say Mr Felton “sadly died at the scene”.
It is not believed there were any passengers in the car at the time.
The accident happened after the vehicle crossed the opposing carriageway before colliding with the hedgerow and a tree at the top of an embankment.
