CHESHIRE Oaks customers celebrated the opening of the new Next store last Thursday.

The 30,000sq ft complex is one of the biggest in the UK and is accompanied by Next Home, Costa Coffee and Lipsy London.

The store on The Coliseum retail park has created 59 jobs.

Next directors conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony and were joined by early-morning shoppers.

Staff and customers also raised cash for Next’s chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

Meanwhile, McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet has announced an influx of new fashion brands, with Armani and Reiss joining the centre this week and a further two stores planned for later in the month, taking the total number of stores up to 145.

Centre manager Colin Wilding said: “We continue to expand on our assortment of fashion brands at McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks, building on our wide range of designer, premium and high street names.

“The introduction of stylish brands Armani and Reiss is fantastic news for shoppers of all ages and fashion tastes.”
