A UK specialist photography business has selected Neston as its new base for the North West.

Regenology, which specialises in time lapse photography, has taken a 1,000 sq ft unit on the Clayhill Light Industrial Park.

The company says its expansion will create a small number of new jobs.

The eight-year-old business has its time-lapse cameras situated on some of the biggest regeneration and construction projects in the UK.

They have also been used on a number of other high profile projects including the raising of the Costa Concordia ferry off the coast of Italy.

Regenology describes its high definition time lapse footage as ideal for historical documentation, promotional films, DVDs and websites.

Managing director Richard Overton said: “We have grown steadily over the past eight years, but we believe now is the right time to take the business to the next level.

“More than 90% of our work is regeneration and construction focussed and, until now, the vast majority of our clients have been in London and the South.

“The opening of our North West office will enable us to continue developing some good relationships in the region and allow us to become a genuinely UK-wide business.”

He added: “We were impressed by the facilities available on the Clayhill Business Park, which provides us with an ideal base to target the key markets of Liverpool, Manchester, Wirral and Cheshire.

“Our extensive experience means that we have the know-how needed for complex and demanding projects including large scale regeneration and construction projects requiring multiple cameras and lasting many years.”

In addition to its UK projects, Regenology has also worked extensively abroad.

Other services offered by the company include video production, aerial film and photography and web cams.
