ACCOUNTANCY firm Mitchell Charlesworth has been crowned Accountancy Firm of the Year (six partners and above) at the North West Finance Awards.
Chester-based Mitchell Charlesworth scooped the title in front of more than 700 people at a packed gala dinner at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium.
Presenting the award, Tom Rigby from the North West Society of Chartered Accountants told the audience: “The winning larger accountancy firm has embraced cutting edge technology and demonstrated customer service that really does go beyond the norm.
“With almost 80% of new clients coming from referrals by their existing clients, it looks like they’ve got the recipe for customer service exactly right. They have impressed the judges by their significant involvement in adding value to the wider financial community. So congratulations to the Large Accountancy Firm of the Year, Mitchell Charlesworth.”
A team lead by partners Alison Lavelle and Paul Wainwright collected the award. The team represented each of Mitchell Charlesworth’s five offices including Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Widnes and Warrington.
