GOAL! Eastleigh 0 Chester 2
Shaw sees penalty saved but Durrell bundles home the rebound from close range.
Relief

Half time thoughts
A goal up at Eastleigh at half time is a scoreline the Blues would have taken at the break before kick off. They have had to contend with plenty of pressure but they have stood up to the task each time so far. Going forward they have looked to exploit the home side on the break, something they did to great effect for the opening goal. They need to adopt a positive approach in the second half as they simply can not sit back against Eastleigh as they will e punished. Positive first 45, though.
Half time: Eastleigh 0 Chester 1
The Blues lead against the big spenders thanks to Kane Richards’s effort on 19 minutes.
A man down for the moment
Chester’s Kane Richards receiving treatment on the sidelines for a shoulder injury.
How did that not go in?!
Durrell free-kick causes mayhem and the ball ricochets around the area with Alabi’s effort cannoning back off a defender to safety. Mayhem.
Good save
Scott Wilson finds room on the edge of the area to fire off a wicked strike but Lynch holds superbly.
Turning the screw
Home side seeing a lot of the ball and pouring men forward. Lynch does well to collect a dangerous Partington cross. Still 1-0.
More pressure
Eastleigh close to levelling there as a right wing cross from Coulson just misses Drury’s head. Blues eventually clear.
Just wide
Nice play there from the Blues sees Richards beat his man and lay of Durrell who whisps an effort over from 25 yards.
Well saved
Mandron does well to find space and get a shot off but his effort is blocked into the path of Stearn who fires low but Lynch is equal to it at his near post. 24 mins.
Great move
Against the run of play but a great goal. Alabi holds the ball up well and clips the ball on to an overlapping Hunt whose superb low cross is fired home first time by Richards from close range.
