Rowing: Queens Park High school enjoy success at Head of the Mersey Race

QUEEN’S Park High School’s rowers enjoyed success at Warrington Rowing Club’s Head of the Mersey Race.
The J18 quad of Chris Thomas, Ozzy Ghobadi, Scott Young and Tom Young won their group, while Chris and Ozzy also triumphed in the IM3. The J18 double of Ozzy and Tom came second as did the WJ18 double of Joy Roberts and Lucy Adam.
The J14 quad of Joel Langmead, Struan Fishburn, James McDermott, Yousef Khalifa and cox Ozzy were third, with the J13 quad of Alex Thomas, George Clouting, Craig Roberts, Leon Langmead and cox Danny Wallace one place behind.
