Boat named after college
A BRAND new rowing boat has been named after Frodsham College.
The double sculling boat was unveiled along with a new club house at Runcorn Rowing Club.
Frodsham College Headteacher Anna Cooper was given the opportunity to name the boat in recognition of the support the college has given to Project Oarsome, an Amateur Rowing Association initiative, and Runcorn Rowing Club.
The college has encouraged its own students and those from other schools in Frodsham and Helsby to make use of their excellent rowing training facilities.
