The King's School

The King's School is an independent co-educational school with juniors, seniors and sixth form. The school was founded in 1541 by King Henry VIII following the dissolution of St Werburgh's Abbey, which became Chester Cathedral. The school moved to its new site on Wrexham Road in 1960.
