Politics

The Conservative Party are in control of Cheshire West and Chester Council with 42 councillors with Labour having 32 and the Liberal Democrats 1. Chester has a Conservative MP, Stephen Mosley, while the rural Eddisbury constituency has long-standing Tory MP Stephen O'Brien. Ellesmere Port and Neston has Labour's Andrew Miller as MP while Tory Graham Evans is MP for Weaver Vale which covers Frodsham and Helsby.
