Organisers of Cholmondeley Power and Speed are inviting budding photographers to show off their skills for the chance to win a great prize.

Entrants should send through their best shots of the event from previous years, formerly known as the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, that captures its spirit, power and excitement. Images can feature any action across the weekend, from the track action to the air and water activity and general atmospheric shots.

The best picture will be chosen by a panel of judges and the winning photographer will receive a pair of tickets for Saturday, access to the Brown Shipley Racing Club, VIP parking, track action (a passenger ride during a demonstration lap on track) and a helicopter ride for two over the festival site.

Event director at Cholmondeley Power and Speed James Hall said: “We ran the competition for the first time ahead of last year’s event and received some fantastic images, giving us the opportunity to see the event through the eyes of our visitors. Following this success, we wanted to once again invite the public to submit pictures they have taken at the event in previous years for the chance to win this great prize.

“Last year’s winner, Karl Gaskin, really captured the excitement of Cholmondeley Power and Speed with his shot of a BAC Mono, a stunning car that always attracts a lot of attention. We look forward to seeing the entries for 2016.”
