There's proof that the iconic Coca Cola truck is making its way to Chester, after it was spotted parked in North Wales.

But it's a bit of a mystery why the famous vehicle appeared to be ditched outside KFC in Rhuddlan looking less than festive.

Yesterday, our sister paper the Daily Post revealed pictures of the van parked just off the A547, with no sign of a driver and looking far removed from the Christmassy image it usually represents.

How the Coca Cola truck usually looks

The spot comes two days before the truck is due to arrive in Colwyn Bay, the day before it will come to Eastgate Street in Chester from midday to 8pm.

The truck is due to appear in Cardiff on the same day as Chester.
