A Chester company is calling all bikers to join them on their annual charity ride out on Sunday.
Smiths Honda, of Christleton , are inviting motorbike, scooter and trike fans to join the fun on Sunday, December 13, from noon from the showroom on Whitchurch Road.
Former Coronation Street star Ian Puleston-Davies and Dee 106.3’s Chester the Cat will be welcoming riders from 10am for registration and refreshments.
This year’s event is in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice and Lady Taveners.
Director of Smiths Honda Karen Smith is a long-standing Claire fundraiser for the hospice and a Lady Tavener.
She said: “This will be our 10th charity run; last year we had to move it from our Bill Smith’s site on Tarvin Rd to our new Honda showroom due to numbers going well over 250.
“This is not only an important fundraising event but a fantastic event to see with riders and their bikes dressed up in their best festive costumes.
“Even if you are not a biker, it’s an event not to be missed so please keep an eye out for all the bikes and give them a wave or beep your horn to show your support. These riders, many of which have supported our Christmas run from day one never failing to turn up to help and show they care for local children in need.”
The popular charity-run T-shirts will be available on a first come first served basis for £5. There will also be an auction and raffle.
