Dance students at The Hammond School in Chester have taken expert advice from a top ballet dancer.
Former Bolshoi and Royal ballet star Irek Mukhamedov visited the Hoole Bank school to coach principal dancers during the week before their production of the ballet La Bayadère.
Irek, a patron of The Hammond School, spent three days working with the dancers during his visit to Chester before returning to his work in Europe.
La Bayadere will be performed in The Hammond Theatre, Mannings Lane, Chester on Wednesday, March 25 at 7pm and Thursday, March 26 at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are available online at www.thehammondschool.co.uk or call 01244 305362.
