It may only be November but the shops are already starting to play Christmas songs.

Some of you might think it's too early but here at The Chronicle we're feeling a bit festive, so we want you to tell us what you think the best Christmas song is.

Noddy Holder from Slade

There are certainly enough to choose from but, when it comes to ‘the most wonderful time of the year’, it’s all about the big hitters.

Based on the biggest selling Christmas songs of all time, vote for your favourite in our poll.

Festive tunes include some of the most famous yuletide anthems including Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas?, Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade and Wham!'s Last Christmas.

The Pogues' festive offering with Kirsty MacColl may be a firm favourite with fans but it was actually beaten to the 1987 Christmas no.1 spot by the Pet Shop Boys' version of Always on My Mind
