3. Family open day

The Unity Centre in Cuppin Street in Chester is celebrating its fifth year in operation with its annual family fun open day on Saturday. It is an opportunity for everyone in the area to enjoy Chester’s cultural diversity. Organisers Cheshire, Halton and Warrington Race and Equality Centre have arranged a fantastic array of entertainment to suit everyone’s taste including food from around the world, arts and crafts, henna painting, reflexology, children's face painting, Origami, Bollywood dancing, Capoiera and Hungarian folk dancing and will welcome Drumroots from Manchester who will be running an African drumming workshop between noon-1pm. The day opens at 11am and ends at 3pm with food served at 1pm.
