Vienna Festival Ballet celebrates its 33rd anniversary with a world premier performance of Snow White.

The celebrated Austrian dancer Peter Mallek founded the company, after his illustrious career as a dancer of international renown, in 1980.

Notable for the continued freshness and strength of their dancing casts, VFB have talented dancers including graduates from the Royal Ballet School, British, Australian and Italian soloists, and guest stars from Vienna and South Africa.

The performance is set to a stunning array of orchestrated pieces by composers including Faris and Gounod.

Based on the traditional Grimm Brothers story, this new ballet incorporates all the favourite elements from this well-loved tale; from the enchanted mirror, to our beautiful heroine, to the bewitched shiny red apple and not forgetting the handsome Prince Charming.

Vienna Festival Ballet are excited to welcome Barry McGrath, former senior principal dancer of The Royal Ballet, principal dancer of London Festival Ballet, former senior principal dancer of the Scottish Ballet and New London Ballet.

Among the spectacular costumes made for this new ballet, VFB are extremely proud to present specially commissioned costumes for the principal dancers Snow White and the Queen, designed and made by Vonnie Meyrick-Brook, costume maker from blockbuster films such as Skyfall and the Harry Potter series.

Vienna Festival Ballet bring Snow White to the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, Wirral, on Friday, September 27. Call 0151 666 0000 or visit www.floralpavilion.com.
