Publick Transport theatre company will perform a piece of comic visual theatre based on the Brontë family at the Lion Salt Works Museum near Northwich in March.

We are Brontë is inspired by the real and imaginary worlds of Yorkshire’s literary siblings.

Presented in Publick Transport’s irreverent style, improvised physical theatre collides with stand-up comedy. As a result, no two performances are the same - the part play, part enquiry into the act of putting on a play, is no ordinary adaptation.

StageTalk’s review called this production a 'mini comedic masterpiece...ambitious, risk-taking, edgy, just downright different. A very mixed audience lapped this up. I loved it.'

Bristol 24/7 said the play is 'witty physical theatre at its finest.”='

Tickets for the performance on Friday, March 18 at 7.30pm cost £8 for adults and £6 for children aged 16 or under. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Lion Salt Works on 01606 275040 or by visiting Cheshire Rural Touring Arts
