It's already been an explosive year for Coronation Street residents, but the drama is stepping up a notch this summer.
From a clumsy marriage proposal to a murder confession, here are seven massive spoilers for all the action coming up on the cobbles over the next few weeks.
Is Pat Phelan set to confess?
He sat there and watched as poor Les Dennis passed away on the cobbles, but is Pat Phelan set to show a more remorseful side to his character?
Discovering that he has a long-long daughter appears to have made the con man re-evaluate his life.
In a rare moment, Phelan (Connor McIntyre) will show that he does feel guilty about what he's done.
He visits a church in a desperate bid to be forgiven for his sins.
Sitting in the confessional, he tells the priest that he deserves to be punished for what he has done.
Actress Nicola Thorp, who plays his daughter Nicola, previously teased that viewers would see a different side to Phelan with the introduction of his daughter.
Bethany Platt faces groomers in court
it has been one of the most high profile and controversial stories Corrie has ever seen, but it looks like it is coming to an end at last.
Over the next few months, Bethany (Lucy Fallon) will likely face her rapist Neil and groomer Nathan Curtis in court.
Following Craig's heroics and quick-thinking, both Neil and Nathan are behind bars with solid evidence that could lead to jail time.
On Monday's episode, DC Leigh delivered the good news to the teenager.
But when Bethany asked whether she would testify, the detective revealed that it depended on whether Neil and Nathan pleaded guilty. If they don't, it most likely means that she will need to in order to ensure they face justice.
Expect some heartwrenching, tear-jerking scenes.
Kidnap horror for Michelle Connor
Poor Michelle can't catch a break.
After a horrendous year which saw the death of her premature son Ruari and the break-up of her marriage, things aren't getting easier for Michelle (Kym Marsh).
Viewers recently watched Michelle receive a death threat and over the coming week, she will get the feeling that someone's watching her.
And, as a recent trailer for Corrie has revealed, she is right.
That means a kidnap, and who knows what will happen from there.
Steve McDonald proposes to Leanne Battersby (yes, really)
Since Nick's (Ben Price) departure from the cobbles, Steve (Simon Gregson) and Leanne (Jane Danson) have been getting on brilliantly, So brilliantly, in fact, that Liz will notice and wonder whether there could be a romance brewing.
At the end of next week, Leanne will be persuaded to enjoy a night on the tiles with her sisters and leave her son with Steve.
So she dresses in one of Eva's sexy dresses - but ends up returning back home and tells Steve that she'd rather stay and watch a DVD with him.
He becomes even more ecstatic when Leanne gives him and Oliver matching County shirts.
This, somehow, leads him to blurt out a proposal.
Leanne is, unsurprisingly, incredibly unimpressed and lists the reasons why a marriage between the two would be an utter disaster.
She storms out and heads over to The Rovers where she enjoys a few vodkas with her sisters. But when they make jokes about Steve, Leanne is defensive and sticks up for him.
Does she have more feelings for him than she lets on? Could Leanne actually accept Steve's proposal?!
Mary Taylor's son Jude could return for good
As Norris Cole and Mary Taylor prepare to "marry" to win some cash to help pay for her visit to South Africa, it looks like her son could be returning to the cobbles anyway - and for good.
Viewers will remember that Mary (Patti Clare) had intended to leave the cobbles to be with her son but decided not to after she felt her home was in Weatherfield.
Mary ran back to Norris’ house, frantically knocking on the door, and declared she couldn’t leave any of her friends behind.
Sobbing, she said: “I couldn’t go through with it.
“This is my home. Everyone I love is here. How could I leave?”
But her son has never been far from her thoughts, and it has been reported that he will be joining the cast as a permanent character.
Erica Holroyd's cheating to be exposed
Claire King has sadly left the cobbles after three years, with Erica's last appearance on screens being in August.
Soap bosses have ensured that she isn't being killed off, but is currently tangled up in an infidelity storyline with Kevin.
In the coming weeks, Dev will finally find out about her fling with Kev and will have it out with the car mechanic in the street.
After hearing about Kevin's smooch with Erica, Tim has a go at him. But little do they know that Mary has overheard. Of course, she quickly heads off to tell Dev about what she has heard.
Meanwhile, Kevin confronts Dev over the sale of his gym which scuppers the mechanic's own chances of selling his garage.
But Dev suddenly tells Kev that he knows about his make-out session with Erica.
The two men look ready to fight in the street, but Anna interjects and insists that Erica was the one coming on to Kevin - and that he left her waiting in a hotel room for him.
Eva Price's revenge against Aidan Connor escalates
Eva Price is a woman on a mission and is determined to take what she can get from her cheating boyfriend Aidan Connor.
The factory machinist, played by Cath Tyldesley, is currently pretending that she is pregnant with his baby and has teamed up with Adam Barlow.
After their flat, the next thing Eva is intent on nabbing from under his nose is the factory.
And Eva won't be afraid of playing dirty to get it...
