Chester based music and arts group Operation Lightfoot will make a special guest appearance at this year’s Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge final on Friday, November 27.

The event, held at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street in Liverpool, showcases new pieces written by songwriters from across the region, each having chosen a piece of artwork on display at the venue as their inspiration.

Operation Lightfoot director Luke Moore said: “It’s very exciting to be booked to perform some of our collaborations at this year’s songwriting challenge.

“We have collaborated with three of the previous winners (Vanessa Murray, Jo Bywater, Silent Cities) and two of the judges (Kaya, Jon Lawton) and now have a permanent visual artist, Max Da Silva Willis so we’re looking forward to opening the evening”.
