Former Beautiful South members Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are the second artists to be announced for next year’s annual woodland music concert at Delamere Forest .
The pair, whose vocals were part of the band’s most successful period in the 1990s, recently teamed up for the album ‘Wisdom, Laughter and Lines’ which made the Top 10, a follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘What Have We Become’ in 2014.
They will be performing at Delamere on Friday July 1, one day before fellow 1990s band Simply Red take to the stage .
Fans can expect to hear songs from Paul and Jazqui’s latest album, as well as well known songs from the Beautiful South days including Perfect 10, Rotterdam and Don’t Marry Her, and songs from Paul’s days with The Housemartins.
All proceeds from ticket sales of the Forest Live concerts is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife.
Tickets cost £32.50 (plus £3.75 booking fee) and go on sale at 9am on Friday December 11 from the Forestry Commission box office, by calling 03000 680400, or online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music .
