After taking a summer break, Music For The Greater Good is back in Alexander’s in Chester on Thursday, September 26.

Hosted by Aardvarker.com, it showcases some of the best live up and coming music artists in the area.

This month sees Me + Deboe, Alx Green and Matt Breen performing.

Me + Deboe are a female acoustic duo keeping it raw, stripping down the sound to two percussive guitars and vocals.

Alx Green is A Chester-based singer/songwriter performing great acoustic tracks covering folk and alternative styles.

Matt Breen has recently played the legendary George Harrison in the hit show Lennon and his musical talents hit that high standard to performing acoustic indie rock and more.

What’s even better is that this event is always in aid of a good cause and for this night MFTGG is continuing to raise money for the Anya Bentham Appeal.

Anya has neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.

Anya’s best chance of beating the disease lies in America but the proposed treatment and associated costs of £250,000 will not be funded by the NHS.

Tickets £3. Visit www.alexanderslive.com or call 01244 340005.
