Welsh music makers The Roseville Band return with their eagerly anticipated third album Temper which they will showcase at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Friday, May 2.

The band, who hail from the green country of North Wales, deliver explosive driven rock ‘n’ roll, and have been patiently building a reputation for their high energy live shows and stadium filling potential.

Forming the creative nucleus of the band are guitarist brothers Andy and Steve Jones, who grew up in the North Wales countryside, in a house — Roseville — which over time drew in a community of friends and musicians from the surrounding area, giving rise to The Roseville Band in late 2006.

Having developed a cult following in their native Wales with the releases of their first two albums, Little Eyes In The Universe (PIAS 2010) and Shake The Walls (PIAS 2011), the band have earned support and mentions from the likes of NME, The Guardian and a host of online bloggers.

Debuting with sessions and airplay on XFM, BBC Wales and Balcony TV, they’ve since progressed to reach new audiences around the world with press and airplays across Europe, the USA and Canada.

Live, The Roseville Band have a commendably intense work ethic — 500+ shows to date — establishing their reputation as fervently committed performers.

An eventual tour of Europe, alongside triumphant performances at Glastonbury Festival, Sound City, and Focus Wales were eventually topped off with invitations to perform across the pond at Canadian Music Week and NXNE.

During these trips the band previewed new material, attracting new industry admirers, resulting in them being dubbed Standout International Act of NXNE 2012, and later being signed to Pipe & Hat Records in Canada.

The band is now a leaner four-piece, bringing a more aggressive and alternative slant to their music, which has them primed for new frontiers with the release of Temper.

Free entry before 9pm, £4 thereafter.
