Historic Cheshire beauty spot Tatton Park is to be the venue for the hit touring show Forever Jackson, a celebration of the life and work of music legend Michael Jackson.
The show will be staged in a grand marquee at the National Trust property in Knutsford on Sunday, December 11 and will be combined with a three-course dining experience.
Star of the show Robin Parsons has even had the honour of performing before Michael Jackson, appearing at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles as part of the pop legend’s lavish 45th birthday celebrations.
The Cheshire event, organised by Tatton Park festive party specialists JD Parties in conjunction with acclaimed theatre show producers GRT Productions, is billed as “an exciting new venture” by JD Parties MD Andrew Gentles.
He said: “We are thrilled to be working with renowned theatre show specialists GRT Productions on this event. Thanks to incredible attention to detail, fans of the King of Pop are in for a jaw-dropping, ultimately authentic experience.
“Not only do the 100 per cent live, pitch-perfect vocals sound precisely like Michael, the star of the show’s resemblance is uncanny.”
GRT MD Pete Tobit explained the evening’s Michael Jackson is transformed thanks to a three-hour process using only theatrical make-up. And both he and the tightly-choreographed accompanying all-girl dance team are attired in costumes that meticulously recreate Michael’s imminently flamboyant stage costumes.
“Every little detail, from Michael’s distinctive dance moves right down to his smallest mannerism is reproduced absolutely faithfully,” says Pete. “Featuring a superbly-talented live band, special effects and unique projections, Forever Jackson is a visual and audio treat.”
The award-winning production takes audiences from Michael’s early days with the Jackson 5 and The Jacksons through to his rise to become The King of Pop.
All the million-selling hits feature including Thriller, Bad, Billie Jean, Blame it on the Boogie, I Want You Back, Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough, Rock With You, Smooth Criminal, Can You Feel It and many more.
Having accrued a staggering 900 performances at prestigious venues as far and wide as India to South America and being crowned Britain’s No1 UK Michael Jackson production at the UK National Tribute Awards, Forever Jackson offers a new experience to Tatton Park partygoers.
