Chester blues outfit A Shrewdness Of Apes won’t be monkeying around when they play Alexander’s in Chester, on Thursday, April 28.
The band features the mighty vocals of the petite yet powerful Mercy Elise Birch and the gritty Charlie Goodfella joined by a smattering of drums, a hankering of Hammond, a tinkling of ivory a blast of brass and a thrumming of guitar and bass.
