Paul Weller has been named as part of the chart-topping line up for this year’s live music festival in Delamere Forest.

It’s been 30 years since Paul Weller first  exploded onto the music scene with The  Jam, but now he is preparing to join 90s boy band Boyzone and Jessie J at the popular forest gig.

With hits including Stanley Road, Illumination, 22 Dreams and 2013’s Sonik Kicks all hitting Number One, Paul Weller returns  to the Forestry Commission stage following  two sold out Forest Live dates last summer.

“It’s a favourite summer jaunt for me so I  look forward to performing in a few of the forests that I haven’t played in a good while,”  said Paul.

Paul Weller with Special Guests will take to the stage at the Delamere Forest concerts on Friday, July 4 as part of the three day gig  which will see around 17,000 music lovers flock to the forest to watch their favourite  bands.
