While Nashville session musician Tommy Harden has played on some of country music’s biggest hits, and tours huge arenas as part of country legend Reba McEntire’s band, he’s delighted to be playing his own songs at a performance at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Tuesday, April 8.

Under the name Lost Hollow, Tommy is joined by his wife, singer Lorrie, and the duo have their first album together available via iTunes and Amazon.

A real Anglophile, Tommy is looking forward to his first visit to Chester and indulging in his passion for history and architecture.

There’s no doubting Lost Hollow’s Nashville roots on the duo’s album, which calls to mind Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris.

It showcases their harmony vocal expertise on a series of gentle ballads, with a couple of radio-friendly pop tunes thrown in for good measure.

Support in Chester comes from Manchester alt-country band Ash Mountain, making their Telford’s debut to promote their new vinyl EP on the Manchester Spins label.

Admission to the Chester gig is free. For further details, call 01244 390 090 or visit www.telfordswarehouse.com.
