Music legend Tom Jones will grace the green green grass of Cheshire when he headlines a lakeside concert at Tatton Park this summer.

International 80s chart-toppers Roxette and classical symphony orchestra Hallé will join the Sexbomb singer for what is described as ‘a spectacular three days of live music’ from Thursday July 28 to Saturday July 30.

The concert series, presented by music promoters Cuffe and Taylor and Neil O’Brien Entertainment follows in the footsteps of the successful Tatton Park Picnic Concert which has drawn thousands of music fans to Tatton in previous summers.

'Something really special'

Director Peter Taylor said: “This is going to be something really special. We are delighted to expand the wonderfully successful Tatton Park Picnic Concert into Concerts by the Lake, which will bring such world-renowned stars as Sir Tom, Roxette and the Hallé together for what we feel sure will be three days of unforgettable live music.”

The former Voice star will be first act to take to the stage on the Thursday, followed by Roxette before the Hallé entertain audiences as part of a picnic proms event on Saturday night which will be followed by a spectacular fireworks finale.

Brendan Flanagan, General Manager of Tatton Park, said: “For more than 20 years our stunning lakeside setting has been the ideal location for the perfect outdoor concert. For many it has provided the highlight of their summer calendar.

“We’re certain that with such an impressive line-up this year the event will prove to be an even greater success firmly establishing Tatton Park as the ‘go to’ musical event of the outdoor concert season.”
