More than 100 music fans went along to enjoy a warm-up concert for this year’s Ellesmere Port SummerJam in Great Sutton.

Great Sutton Village Hall hosted a live music showcase featuring four live local bands.

The event brought together friends and families from all bands, some of whom were getting the opportunity to see their chosen bands perform for the first time such as The Customs and Spelter.

Joining the two new bands were Turbulence and Broken 3 Ways. Turbulence, also relative newcomers to local music scene, have built followings in Chester and North Wales and have gigs booked for the coming weeks.

Broken 3 Ways are veterans of the local music scene and have been praised by many for keeping their Ska-roots alive and being at the forefront of the recent resurrection of Ska-Punk in the North West.
