Swedish trio Baskery return to the UK this month for a select number of dates including a gig at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Friday, October 24.

The three sisters - Greta, Sunniva and Stella - are celebrating their recent signing to Warner Bros Records globally.

The band are currently working on new material for their upcoming album with a release date yet to be announced, which will be their first new material since 2013’s Little Wildlife, their third release.

Drawing comparisons from Fleetwood Mac to The Black Keys, The Dixie Chicks and everything in between, Baskery is known for their unique instrumentation, fierce live attitude and energetic shows, and their distinct blend of punk, folk, and Americana genres.

Baskery formed in 2006 following the split of The Slaptones, a band that featured their father Janåke Bondesson on drums.

Their first album, Fall Among Thieves, was released in Europe in 2008 and in the UK in January 2009. New Friends, their second album was released in 2011 with their third album Little Wild Life released in 2013.

Admission is free before 9pm, £4 therafter. Call 01244 390090 or visit www.telfordswarehouse.com for details.
