An emerging singer-songwriter based Chester has announced a gig in his home city next month.

Tom Jarvis is originally from Cambridge but has made Chester his home and will be performing live at Chester Music Theatre in Boughton on Saturday, December 5.

Having received iTunes success from his debut EP Make Your Own Luck back in 2013, Tom followed this up with a second EP and single, both of which received huge support from BBC Introducing.

With this solid foundation behind him, 2014 saw Tom embark on his first UK tour playing a massive 26 universities across the UK, as well as playing along side a number of chart-topping acts such as Scouting for Girls, Example, John Newman, Stu Larsen and John Murry.

Making waves

In 2015 he has continued making waves, performing at Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, playing support sets for artists such as Nina Nesbitt and Howie Day and also being featured on ITV’s Lorraine Kelly show, the Daily Mail and The Sun newspapers.

After recently signing to London based management label YellowBrick Music, Tom has taken it upon himself to close 2015 with a UK tour playing a number of shows across the country including Manchester, Cambridge, London and, of course, Chester on December 5.

The show will be opened by a singer/songwriter from the west coast of Wales called Cally Rhodes who is taking YouTube by storm with one of her latest covers of Adele’s new single Hello receiving 50,000 hits in less than a week.
