Four-piece punk rock band Max Raptor, from Burton on Trent, are coming to The Live Rooms in Chester on Friday, April 29 to promote their new self-titled album.

The band formed in 2006 and have toured the UK and played two dates in 2009 with Canadian punk band Billy Talent as well as playing 16 dates in 2010 with British punk band The Stranglers.

Max Raptor played Download Festival 2010 with Cage the Elephant, The Futureheads, Captain, Calvin Harris and Oceansize while in August 2012 they played the BBC Introducing Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The first single from the new album Old Romantics premiered on the Radio 1 Rock Show.

Max Raptor are also part of Scuzz TV UK Throwdown Tour alongside Press To Meco and Allusondrugs. They have also just been added to 2000 Trees festival from July 7-9.
