Chester Ladies Choir has raised £863 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd through its final concert of the season.
Held in Holy Trinity Church, Blacon, the event was organised by the Blacon Support Group of the hospice.
In February this year the choir recorded a new CD Love to Sing at St Mary’s Centre in Chester. Copies of the CD, priced £8, are available from Sandra Hughes, who can be contacted on 0151 378 0786.
The choir is anxious to recruit contraltos. If you are interested contact Sandra or attend the first rehearsal of the season in St. Luke’s Church, Huntington, on Tuesday, September 2 at 7.30pm.
