Acclaimed Australian musician Fraser A Gorman is stopping off on his world tour to give a special Halloween performance at a Chester pub.

The singer/songwriter, who has his own take on the alternative-country genre and is according to critics is ‘heading for big things’, will perform at The Golden Eagle’s Roman Candle Night on October 31.

Roman Candle nights have been running at the pub for the past six months by Carl Bennett, who regularly tries to showcase different musicians from Liverpool, Cardiff, Manchester and London.

He said he is ‘super excited’ to welcome Fraser to Chester and is encouraging people to come to the gig, which is free.

Create something different

Carl said: “I’ve put a few gigs on before and once I entered the Golden Eagle I knew I wanted to run a music night there and start to create something different and unique for Chester.

“Fraser will be coming straight from a gig at Liverpool Music Week so we’re super excited to have a guy like this play for us. He is a total up and coming talent who will be a fine force in the music industry.

“In Manchester it is £7 a ticket to see him play so for free entry it’s really cool. We have doors opening at 8pm and are expecting Fraser on around nine-ish maybe later.”
