The influences on Johnny Lucas - who comes to Alexander’s in Chester on Sunday, December 7 - range from Paul McCartney to Brit Pop.

His latest single, The Best Days, was recently premiered on BBC Radio One courtesy of Ally Mcrae. The single went on to receive further airplay on BBC Radio 2 and on multiple stations across the country.

He was also selected by Café Nero to be Artist of the Month which involved his song Ticking being played worldwide across 600 stores.

After a blistering 2014 playing at the Glastonbury and the Cornbury Festival, a tour of universities nationwide this year has been an essential platform in building upon his ever growing fanbase.

Johnny’s latest EP, You Can Start Anywhere, is rapidly gathering even more momentum as leading song Lilo was played by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music as well as getting a flattering review in The Independent.
