A special night of rock music raising money for charity is being held in Helsby this weekend.
Problem Child, Bloodstone Jack, Awaker and The Texas Flood are all on the bill for the first ever Helsfest at The Eccies on Saturday (April 16).
Proceeds from the gig will go to mental health charity Mind.
The event has been organised by The Eccies manager Chloe Cormack and her friend Ed Brereton.
Chloe said: “We are both passionate about rock music and know many people who have suffered with mental health conditions.
“It will be great to use rock music as a way of raising money for mind and getting the name of the charity out there for anybody who may be suffering.
“Tickets are selling well and everybody is excited about the night.”
The music starts at 7pm and is expected to finish at 2am.
Chloe and Ed have also organised food, stalls and a raffle as well as free camping for guests.
Tickets for Helsfest are just £5 and are available by calling 019287222324, online at www.eccieshelsby.com or from behind the bar.
