A Sir Elton John tribute act will be performing at a Runcorn theatre this weekend.

Paul Bacon comes to The Brindley on Saturday, May 3, as part of the Ultimate Elton And The Rocket Band.

The band will reproduce their version of the star’s classic live shows in a performance that features some of Sir Elton’s actual costumes that have been bought from his ‘Out The Closet’ sales.

The band have been recognised at the National Tribute Awards 2013 – run by The Agents Association Of Great Britain – who awarded the band Official UK No 1 for performances as the ever popular Elton John Band.

The group will be able to draw upon Sir Elton’s catalogue of hits including Candle In The Wind, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, I’m Still Standing and Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.

Sir Elton’s career has spanned more than five decades, sold more than 250m records, scored over 50 Top 40 hits and made more than 30 albums to date.
